Safety Trainer

Safety Compliance Management is the premier provider of safety consultation services, including instructor led training seminars and classes, online training, site assessments, written program development, regulatory representation and other safety services.

Our team of professional trainers, Certified Safety Professionals and consultants perform a variety of routine and complex work in analyzing and administering various components of the safety management systems for large corporations, family owned businesses, start up operations and municipalities.e

Due to continued growth in our business portfolio, we are now looking to secure an additional training position that can enhance our team and deliver high-level service to our clients. Position remuneration will relate directly to experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to:
  • Deliver technical safety training services to a variety of clients
  • Develop training lesson plan content and provide regulatory compliance and awareness level training to clients at their location or through Open Enrollment services at our integral training facility
  • Maintain professional expertise by attending professional development conferences, monitoring regulatory changes and changes in the safety profession, monitoring relevant safety-related research and maintain all professional certifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree (Safety, Engineering, Social Science, or Construction related preferred)
  • 5 years of related experience may substitute for the degree
  • Minimum of 5 years safety-related work experience.
  • Significant demonstrated experience in developing and delivering adult training
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal communications, oral communications/presentations, classroom and job-site training.
  • Able to work within MS Office suite of programs
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and U.S. work authorization
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA Regulations
  • Ability to meet physical demands of position including ability to climb a ladder, lift moderately heavy equipment and work outside for extended periods of time

Preferred

  • Bilingual – Spanish/English
  • Construction or DOT hazardous materials transportation/shipping experience
  • Confined Space Rescue Certification

Now Hiring- Administrative Assistant

Job Description

Our team of professional trainers, Certified Safety Professionals and Environmental Consultants perform a variety of routine and complex work in analyzing and administering various components of the environmental, health and safety programs for large corporations, family owned businesses, start up operations and municipalities.

Due to continued growth in our business portfolio, we are now looking to secure an entry level Administrative Assistant that can enhance our team and deliver high-level service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Maintain a front of office presence, greeting visitors, customers & vendors who arrive at our office.
  • Answer all telephone calls and direct caller to an appropriate team member.
  • Check all phone messages and return telephone calls, as needed, the same day.
  • Check emails daily and respond/forward accordingly.
  • Meet all weekly printed training material needs (training booklets and handouts).
  • Accurately generate completion of training certificates & wallet cards, reconciled against course attendance sheets and as directed by training instructors or managers.
  • Archive electronic and hardcopy materials accurately and in a way that they can be easily accessed by other team members.
  • Advise the Accounts manager on stationary and office supply inventory on a weekly basis, with a view to ultimately taking over this role completely.
  • Complete other assigned tasks as directed by the management team.
  • Keep workspaces organized.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Apple computers, MS Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Possession of good organizational skills, good interpersonal skills and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

 

Preferred

  • Upbeat personality with a desire to grow the position and take on additional responsibilities as our company grows.
  • Flexible work schedule when the need arises.

Safety Consultant

Safety Compliance Management is the premier provider of safety consultation services, including instructor led training seminars and classes, online training, site assessments, written program development, regulatory representation and other ergonomic and environmental services.

Our team of professional trainers, Certified Safety Professionals and Environmental Consultants perform a variety of routine and complex work in analyzing and administering various components of the environmental, health and safety programs for large corporations, family owned businesses, start up operations and municipalities.

Due to continued growth in our business portfolio, we are now looking to secure additional bi-lingual consultants that can enhance our team and deliver high-level service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Provide technical safety and health consulting services to a variety of clients. Responsibilities include recognition, evaluation and recommendations for minimizing employee injuries/illnesses through hazard identification, accident investigation, ergonomic assessments and review of accident history.
  • Apply federal, state, and local safety and health rules and regulations which impact the client to develop a strategic safety plan that is customizable to the clients needs, including on-site oversight as needed.
  • Maintain professional expertise by attending professional development conferences and maintain all professional certifications.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Safety, Engineering, Construction related preferred)
  • 5 years of related experience may substitute for the degree
  • 5 years related work experience (Advanced Safety Certificate, a CSP or a CUSA would substitute for the experience)
  • Demonstrated skills in verbal communications, written communications/presentations.
  • Sound knowledge of OSHA Regulations
