Safety Compliance Management, Inc.
(800) 974-1419
EHS Consulting
Many organizations do not require full-time safety staff and often don’t have the budget for this. We understand this. Safety Compliance Management is ready to serve as your outsourced health and safety services department. We have the experience to respond immediately to your needs with in depth knowledge, speed and accuracy. Rather than hiring a single safety staff member for your organization, why not use the whole safety team from SCM? We can bring a range of experts to your site for a fraction of the cost of hiring someone to staff your safety department.

We’ll ensure that trainings are thorough, at the right level, and occur on schedule. SCM consultants can review noise levels, offer strategies for preventing trips and falls, supply information on chemical and other hazards, explain best safety practices, alert you to potential OSHA offenses, and so much more.
We become your contract employees - when, where and for as long as you need us, by the day, week or month.

Assessments and Audits

SCM will help your job site personnel develop critical processes, programs, and solutions. We use a team approach to assessments and audits in these important areas:

Life Safety Concerns: exits, exit pathways, emergency lighting, and first aid kits

Housekeeping: slips, trips, and falls; building access; main electrical and gas shutoff accessibility; and eating and drinking policies

Fire Protection: fire extinguishers, non-permitted building additions, fire hoses, yard fire hydrants, fire risers, sprinklers, PIVs, and alarms

Electrical: non-approved use of extension cords, access to boxes, and appropriate labeling of electrical hazards

Hazardous Materials: storage and handling, labeling, quantities, incompatibility issues, hazardous waste, inspection programs, compressed gas storage and usage, and hazard communication program

Site-Specific Permits or Programs: Hazardous Material Business Plan (HMBP), SB 14, SPCC, pressure vessel permits, respirator programs, industrial truck programs, and hearing conservation programs

Injury and Illness Recordkeeping: OSHA 300 logs, Safety Committee Minutes, Safety Training records, Toolbox topic ideas, Material Safety Data Sheet maintenance - all of these are components of your Injury Illness Prevention Plan, and are among some of the first things OSHA asks to see. Can you afford not to have your records kept ready?
