JSAS Support for the Construction Industry
Large Construction Project Safety Protocol
Are you working on a construction project in the County of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo or the City of Berkeley?
Is the project larger than 10 residential units, or 20,000sf of commercial floor space or an essential infrastructure project starting at 12 or more workers?
If you answered yes to both, then, you need our help!
The construction order states, to start or continue with large construction projects, your site must comply with all social distancing and construction project safety protocols. Furthermore, the order requires that a Third-Party Jobsite Safety Accountability Supervisor (JSAS) be assigned to a jobsite to verify compliance with protocols by visual inspection and worker interviews.

Site-Specific Health and Safety Plans
A significant amount of work will be required by construction companies to develop Site-Specific Health and Safety Plans to address their COVID-19 issues. These plans should include:
Social Distancing Requirements.
Employee PPE Training and Records.
Wash Stations or Hand Sanitizers that are Effective Against COVID-19.
Daily Attendance Logs.
Signage, Cleaning, and Sanitation Practices.
Community Spread Reduction Plan.
Safety Compliance Officer Requirements.
